Orchid House

Thomas Messenger’s involvement with orchid houses was minimal.

In 1867, he undertook work for Archibald Turner, in taking down and moving the existing orchid houses, followed by lengthening it and making a new entrance.

Four years later in 1871 he gave an estimate to George Fox, a merchant of Fulshaw, Wilmslow, Cheshire, for a number of structures, including orchid houses, stove, and vinery.
